On November 1st, 2008 the 4th Annual Focus Art Juried Art Show proved to be quite the happening. Judges Anne Barkley and Jean-Pierre Bourdeau deligently examined over 40 art pieces, studying strong points and areas to be improved. Differently this year, artists and members were invited to sit in and listen to the deliberations of the judges. Thirty pieces were retained.
Feedback from those present was very positive.

The judging was a learning process for all.
November 12th at 6:30 pm. at the Cornwall Public Library, everyone is welcome to the "vernissage" when winners will be announces.
During the evening there will be an official launch of the Focus Art website.
Elsie Gallinger will be participating in the Brockville Artists’ Studio Show & Sale on November 7, 8 & 9th, 2008 at the Brockville Museum . See blog for more details.
Coloris sur la Baie 2008 : October 25 and 26 F.A. members Alan , Audrey Bain and Anne Barkley participated in the major art show at River Rock Inn, Rockland. Congratulations for an excellent exhibition.
Over 40 members participated in the Golden Products demonstration at the October monthly meeting. This presentation by AndreaWarren seen above proved to be very popular and the Association is planing to offer an all day workshop in January. Interested?
